The 36-Hour Value Added Programme (VAP) conducted by Bangalore Clinical Research Institute (BCRI) was designed to provide students with comprehensive, industry-oriented exposure to Clinical Research (CR) and Clinical Data Management (CDM).
The sessions were delivered by Ms. Divya Prabha K R, who guided students through the fundamentals and practical aspects of Clinical Research and Clinical Data Management. The programme covered CR and CDM concepts, study workflows, clinical trial processes, theoretical knowledge, practical applications, industry practices, and real-world workflows.
Through a combination of interactive theoretical sessions and hands-on practical learning, students gained a clearer understanding of how clinical research studies are planned, conducted, managed, and documented. The programme helped bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, giving students valuable insights into the skills and knowledge expected in the clinical research and data management sectors.
